In Mageia/cauldron/x86_64: Tcptunnel is a simple TCP port forwarder. This tool listens to a local TCP port and all the received data is sent to a remote host. It can be used to redirect TCP based protocols like HTTP, IRC, NNTP, SSH or SMTP. Tcptunnel was successfully compiled and tested under GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, HP-UX, OpenBSD, Solaris, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Windows XP. The current version was tested under GNU/Linux and Windows 7. If you have compiled and run it on another system or in another universe please let me know it.

It can be used as a building block for SIP client software for uses such as VoIP, IM, and many other real-time and person-to-person communication services. The primary target platform for Sofia-SIP is GNU/Linux. Sofia-SIP is based on a SIP stack developed at the Nokia Research Center. Sofia-SIP is licensed under the LGPL.

It is meant to be a small - and simple - library. Scanty and meager, and partly because of that easy to use. It has one mission in life: create a semantic parse tree for some arbitrary user for further analysis. It's not a tokenizer, nor is it some generic context-free parser. In fact, context (semantics) is what it's all about - figuring out not just what the grouping of tokens are, but what the _types_ are that the grouping implies. Sparse is primarily used in the development and debugging of the Linux kernel.

It comes with a powerful detection engine, many niche features for the ultimate penetration tester and a broad range of switches lasting from database fingerprinting, over data fetching from the database, to accessing the underlying file system and executing commands on the operating system via out-of-band connections.

ANGLE v1.0.772 was certified compliant by passing the ES 2.0.3 conformance tests in October 2011. ANGLE also provides an implementation of the EGL 1.4 specification. ANGLE is used as the default WebGL backend for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox on Windows platforms. Chrome uses ANGLE for all graphics rendering on Windows, including the accelerated Canvas2D implementation and the Native Client sandbox environment. Portions of the ANGLE shader compiler are used as a shader validator and translator by WebGL implementations across multiple platforms. It is used on Mac OS X, Linux, and in mobile variants of the browsers. Having one shader validator helps to ensure that a consistent set of GLSL ES shaders are accepted across browsers and platforms. The shader translator can be used to translate shaders to other shading languages, and to optionally apply shader modifications to work around bugs or quirks in the native graphics drivers. The translator targets Desktop GLSL, Direct3D HLSL, and even ESSL for native GLES2 platforms.

In Mageia/cauldron/x86_64: Libsoup is an HTTP library implementation in C. It was originally part of a SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) implementation called Soup, but the SOAP and non-SOAP parts have now been split into separate packages. libsoup uses the Glib main loop and is designed to work well with GTK applications. This enables GNOME applications to access HTTP servers on the network in a completely asynchronous fashion, very similar to the Gtk+ programming model (a synchronous operation mode is also supported for those who want it). This is the MinGW build of Libsoup
