Using Java applications in Firefox and Chromium browsers

To do this, you need to run java scripts on your browser, with sound and image.


Procedure :


First, install java-17-openjdk from the CCM.



The server then downloads a small .jnlp file for you to run. But Firefox and Chromium no longer support Java formats.

An alternative has been created: OpenWebStart, on github.com.

What you need to do is download OpenWebStart_linux_1_11_1.deb

And run in ROOT mode :
dpkg -i OpenWebStart_linux_1_11_1.deb

Installation goes smoothly. Files are installed in /opt

Tout d’abord, il faut installer java-17-openjdk du CCM.
