In Mageia/cauldron/x86_64: reprepro is a tool to manage a repository of Debian packages (.deb). It stores files either being injected manually or downloaded from some other repository (partially) mirrored into one pool/ hierarchy. Managed packages and files are stored in a Berkeley DB, so no database server is needed. Checking signatures of mirrored repositories and creating signatures of the generated Package indexes is supported.

In Mageia/cauldron/i586: Mapnik is a Free Toolkit for developing mapping applications. It's written in C++. It can comfortably be used for both desktop and web development, which was something I wanted from the beginning. Mapnik is about making beautiful maps. It uses the AGG library and offers world class anti-aliasing rendering with subpixel accuracy for geographic data. It is written from scratch in modern C++ and doesn't suffer from design decisions made a decade ago. When it comes to handling common software tasks such as memory management, filesystem access, regular expressions, parsing and so on, Mapnik doesn't re-invent the wheel, but utilises best of breed industry standard libraries from boost.org

In Mageia/cauldron/i586: This is a plugin which will terminate tests after a certain timeout. When doing so it will show a stack dump of all threads running at the time. This is useful when running tests under a continuous integration server or simply if you don't know why the test suite hangs.
