Todo esto para mi es chino, pero no chino mandarin, no!. Chino recondito, de la china profunda.
hasta ahora no habia tenido mysql configurado y kontact funcionaba mas o menos bien a veces le costaba arrancar.
si alguien puede contarme como solucionarlo! gracias de antemano

Lo otro que puede ser es una actualización a media de paquetes. Intenta actualizando de nuevo.

he encontrado una solucion al problema de kontact

voy a la carpeta de usuario busco .kde4>share>apps>kontact y lo renombro kontact2
vuelvo a C.C.M. y vuelvo a instalar kontact
no se lo que he hecho pero vuelve a funcionar kontact. y sigo teniendo los correos, las direcciones, los rss, todo. y kontact en .kde4
el programa tarda mucho en abrir lo que el llama complemento resumen, y a veces se queda colgado y como intente pararlo o matarlo (control+alt+esc) se jodio kontact, ya no arranca, vuelta a hacer la misma operacion de antes.
claramente esto no esta bien pero me esta funcionando (con no abrir el complemento resumen pues todo en uso)

Yo tuve ese mismo problema con Akonadi. Lo que debes hacer (aunque es una solución poco ortodoxa) es ir al archivo:
/home/txiki/.local/share/akonadi/db_data/mysql.err
abrirlo con kwrite o similar, y borrar el contenido que causa el error.
Breve explicación: a veces mysql tira errores que en realidad son muy menores. Aunque en su gran mayoría, estos errores no tienen nada que ver con Akonadi, éste igual se queja que existen. Normalmente borrar el contenido de este archivo no va a afectar el funcionamiento de tu PC (a menos que tengas un servidor o hagas un uso intensivo de MySQL).
