Imagenes de instalación de las versiones estables para Mageia y OpenMandriva.

Blogdrake recomienda descargar las imágenes de instalación (iso) vía torrent para evitar corrupción de datos, aprovechar mejor su ancho de banda y mejorar la difusión de las distribuciones.
Fallo en la configuracion de Gift

Necesito bajar unos vídeos de la red Ares. Ares me funciona lento con wine.
Leí el tutorial: http://blogdrake.net/blog/pepito1/como-conectar-la-red-ares-sin-utilizar-wine
En la configuración puse los mismos datos con copiar y pegar:
setup = 1
hosts_allow = ALL
client_port = 1213
follow_symlinks = 1
Pero se me resbaló el mouse y confiado pegué por accidente:
plugins = Ares (SI queremos también la red Gnutella tendremos que poner Ares:Gnutella, y si queremos también la de OpenFT tendrá que quedar así: Ares:Gnutella:OpenFT) incoming = ~/.giFT/incoming
En el acto terminó la configuración. Pongo giftd -v como usuario común y me pone:

Busqué información vi varios script. Entendí por la mitad. Todavía no se como hacer un script en mdv, de manera que no quiero aumentar el problema largándome solo a hacer experimentos sin saber.
¿Cómo puedo acceder de nuevo a configurar gift? ¿O qué puedo hacer?

El proyecto está muerto, pero mientras el programa funcione y no traiga problemas al SO, está todo bien.
La publicación en blog fue hecha el 14 Febrero de 2010. Yo estoy usando mdv 2010.0 Y si le funciona a pepito1, quien lo publicó, y a Raúl Oliveira también me puede funcionar a mi.
Si no me funciona en este momento es por un accidente mientras lo configuraba.
Pero si a alguien le trajo problemas en el sistema operativo o para la ejecución de otros programas, agradecería la advertencia.
Igualmente agradezco cualquier información que yo pueda desconocer sobre este tema.

En consola, sin loguearme puse gift-setup y me permitió acceder a configurar gift
gift me funciona bien con la red Ares
