In Mageia/cauldron/i586: The pyparsing module is an alternative approach to creating and executing simple grammars, vs. the traditional lex/yacc approach, or the use of regular expressions. The pyparsing module provides a library of classes that client code uses to construct the grammar directly in Python code.

The PDL module gives standard perl the ability to COMPACTLY store and SPEEDILY manipulate the large N-dimensional data sets which are the bread and butter of scientific computing. e.g. C<$a=$b+$c> can add two 2048x2048 images in only a fraction of a second. The aim is to provide tons of useful functionality for scientific and numeric analysis.

In Mageia/cauldron/x86_64: the ORLite manpage provides a readonly ORM API when it loads a readonly SQLite database from your local system. By combining this capability with the LWP manpage, the ORLite::Mirror manpage goes one step better and allows you to load a SQLite database from any arbitrary URI in readonly form as well. As demonstrated in the synopsis above, you using the ORLite::Mirror manpage in the same way, but provide a URL instead of a file name.
