In Mageia/cauldron/x86_64: freeglut is a completely open source alternative to the OpenGL Utility Toolkit (GLUT) library with an OSI approved free software license. GLUT was originally written by Mark Kilgard to support the sample programs in the second edition OpenGL 'RedBook'. Since then, GLUT has been used in a wide variety of practical applications because it is simple, universally available and highly portable. freeglut allows the user to create and manage windows containing OpenGL contexts on a wide range of platforms and also read the mouse, keyboard and joystick functions.

Weston has various backends that lets it run on Linux kernel modesetting and evdev input as well as under X11. There is also a quite capable terminal emulator (weston-terminal) and an toy/example desktop shell. Finally, Weston also provides integration with the Xorg server and can pull X clients into the Wayland desktop and act as a X window manager.

It includes a very flexible and powerful ACL system for controlling access to commands, as well as more than 50 built-in plugins providing around 400 actual commands. Limnoria is a project which continues development of Supybot (you can call it a fork) by fixing bugs and adding features (see the list of added features for more details).
