Racing Games with wine mod, joysticks and Force Feedback

To play with the Logitech MoMo Racing steering wheel I revised a few racing games.

I've listed a few windows games for you here, thet all work with wine.

Gerald Folcher made a patch for wine that enables 4 more games to our game list.
We need to compile Wine if we want to enjoy any of these 4 games, because the Force Feedback in these games will only work with a Wine having this patch applied:

But do not worry, because I have applied it for you, and I left it here:

So to compile Wine smoothly we will need these packages:

bison
flex
freetype

As I say, download the Wine mod, decompress it where ever you like and compile it as explained below:
Open Konsole, move to the folder where this Wine is decompressed, in my case:

[paula@localhost ~]$ cd /home/paula/descarga/wine

And write this for installation on this path (you need to put your user name instead of "paula", mine):

[paula@localhost ~]$ sh configure --prefix=/home/paula/wine1

Then, if everything went fine write

[paula@localhost ~]$ make depend && make

And finally this, to install it.

[paula@localhost ~]$ make install

Now to configure this Wine we will have to run

[paula@localhost ~]$ /home/paula/wine1/bin/winecfg

And to run a game with it we should:

[paula@localhost ~]$ /home/paula/wine1/bin/wine namegame

Gerald's Note:

A little tip for peoples that may use this little hack:
It seems it is possible to install a more recent version of Wine and then replace the file '/usr/local/lib/wine/dinput.dll.so' (or
'/usr/lib/wine/dinput.dll.so' depending on where it is installed)
with the one from the hacked/patched Wine 0.9.42. (At least it seems to work with Wine 0.9.53).

So with the Wine + Gerald Folcher's Hack We can play
